MiniStays just wrapped up an incredible few days at the 2025 Mid-Term Rental Summit in sunny San Diego, and we’re leaving more inspired, energized, and motivated than ever. Hosted by the one and only Jesse Vasquez and the amazing team at Airventure Academy, this three-day gathering brought together over 700 mid-term rental professionals, operators, and visionaries — and it delivered.
From powerful speaker sessions to game-changing networking, here’s what went down and why this summit marked a huge milestone for MiniStays.
Day 1: Learning from the Best in the Business
We hit the ground running, connecting with MTR leaders from around the country and soaking up insights from people who have truly shaped the space. Shoutout to legends like Dan Martell, Christine from LV Fine Design, Katie French, Noble Crawford, Zeona McIntyre, Pace Morby, Amy Mahjoory, and Bill Faeth — just to name a few.
Our CEO, Jon Wolf, spent the day locked into every moment, identifying ways MiniStays can serve this growing community better — from hosts and operators to agencies and travel professionals.
Day 2: Relationships That Will Shape Our Future
If Day 1 was about learning, Day 2 was about aligning.
Jon had the chance to connect with powerhouse partners like:
- @thebairdsinvest – Strategic investors out of San Francisco
- @myviciniti – Corporate housing pros doing big things
- @midtermrentalproperties – Canada’s largest MTR provider
- @moniquesvazliantallon – Founder of Hanvenly
The speaker lineup dropped serious gems, including Jeff Hurst from Furnished Finder, who painted a clear picture of where the market is headed, and stories from Roeben Garcia, who went from unemployed to nearly $1M in insurance housing revenue within 7 months. That’s the kind of transformation this space is making possible.
Day 3: The Momentum is Real

The final day closed out with the kind of energy that only happens when you gather the right people, with the right mission, in the right room.
MiniStays walked away from the summit with deeper relationships, potential partnerships, and most importantly — a renewed sense of purpose. We’re building something special here, and events like this show just how much the mid-term rental market is poised to explode.
Major appreciation to all the speakers who brought the heat:
Pace Morby, Dan Martell, Bill Faeth, Corey Roehl, Roeben Garcia, and James Hwang — your transparency and experience are pushing this industry forward.
And a huge thank you to our friends and supporters like @bonnielow_rei, @shonabuyshouses, and @serge.kozhukhar — your encouragement fuels us.
Why This Matters for MiniStays
The MTR Summit confirmed what we already knew — mid-term rentals aren’t a trend, they’re a movement. This strategy is rapidly becoming its own asset class, bridging the gap between short-term chaos and long-term red tape.

At MiniStays, we’re on a mission to create the easiest, most transparent platform for monthly furnished stays. Whether you’re a digital nomad, a travel nurse, or a property owner, we’re here to help you thrive in this space — and we’re just getting started.
See you at the next one. 👊
